Make Your Own Taco Seasoning

Make Your Own Taco Seasoning

If you don’t like the idea of buying processed taco seasoning or if you’ve run out, you can make your own really easily and just save it in a Ziploc or Tupperware container.  I’ve done this with Garam Masala too – it’s great to have on hand or you can just make it as needed – this makes one serving, to increase just multiply the ratios!  And feel free to adjust to your own preference – make it spicy with more crushed pepper or by adding cayenne, or get creative and use smoked cumin or add a little cinnamon.

Ingredients

1 TBSP chili powder

2 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

¼ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp onion powder

¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes

Directions

Mix all ingredients well.
